So, I played around a bit more after posting that last one, and I came up with one that I think is sooo much better. I liked the concept of the first one, but actually doing it didn’t work the way I wanted, so I shifted a little bit :)
My digital camera is sneaking a peek in the mirror of my 35mm camera. This picture is to participate in another DPS assignment called “Show us your Camera” and happened to fit today’s theme (Thanks Shannon for the theme name!).
Hi, my name is Valarie and I’m an RSS Feed addict. That’s right, my google reader has over 100 blog subscriptions in it. Very few are people I actually know. Most are things I find amusing, photographers and photographer resources, maternity care information, and craftiness. These are all things I’m passionate about.
Anyways, as to the topic of this entry, one blog of which I subscribe to is Digital Photography School, and they have challenges, which are always fun. Last weekend they had a challenge, titled “My camera and I” in which you were supposed to take a picture/self-portrait, showing both photographer and camera. Well, I went a step further and grabbed ALL my cameras. I even put them in chronological order, starting with my first little crappy Kodak 110 film camera, on to my disposable 35mm, then my 35mm SLR, and on to a couple digitals, even though I still preferred my 35mm SLR. All these with me and my DSLR in the background.
