Alex already knew what he wanted when we met up a couple weeks ago to plan out his session. Sunrise, on top of a building. Well, we couldn’t get a normal building, so a parking garage had to do. And then the sunrise didn’t cooperate. Thick fog and strategically placed buildings killed it. Either way we had fun. Then that evening, we went out for another session. I felt like a kid again today, wading through a creek :) Tiff and I had originally planned to have this session on Wednesday, but we met up this morning to trash the dresses. This morning she started in one in the woods and then we decided to switch to a second one for the creek shots. We did a lot of walking along the creek, checking out different areas, and had a lot of fun. Timing of this session was perfect because there was a storm this afternoon and the creek rose quickly. Blair broke me in for newborns. The only one I had done before was Allie, and since I had her 24/7, it was pretty easy to catch her when she was in a good mood for photographing. Blair decided in our first session, that he was going to be awake, and be held by his mommy, then entire time (3 hours). I got a couple shots, and gave up. We decided to try again a few days later, and had much better results. Blair has a story, and I’m trying to help his parents illustrate it.
